I used JWL to build a new 2nd floor dormer extension. I initially met with the boss, David, on recommendation from my architect. David replied promptly to my invitation to quote for the work. We agreed a price and start date. From the off I found him to be straightforward and easy to speak to. He responded promptly to any questions I had. I received a phone call a few weeks before the agreed start date to check that the date was still convenient and received regular progress updates along the way.
I found all the JWL team to be friendly professional and knowledgeable, particularly Sean and Jay who were the main people on site. They were happy to answer any questions I had and I had regular contact with David via telephone and WhatsApp and who was regularly on site to oversee the work.
There were others working on site at various stages: Dean and Sean the electricians, Robbie and Chris and various others, whose names I did not catch, who were all professional and courteous at all times.
It was also an added bonus that they were all dog friendly and happily tolerated my overly friendly Labrador!
The work was completed on schedule (within 8 weeks as indicated by David at the outset) and once all the scaffolding came down they came back, as promised, to replace a couple of drain pipes and roof tiles (on the first floor extension) that had been damaged during the build.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the end result which is first class. JWL managed the entire project from start to finish and the only thing I had to think about was the fixtures and fittings I wanted!
